Soup Of Success is a job and life skills training program for women who are dealing with difficult life situations, making positive changes and striving toward self-sufficiency. All proceeds from the sale of Soup of Success products are returned back to the program to cover the training wages of participants. The more products that are sold, the more women we can help. Ruth Rockwell and friends throw annual Mother’s Day & Christmas Victorian teas to benefit Church Community Services’ Soup Of Success program.
The annual events are held at Living Faith Fellowship Church located at 2601 Benham Avenue in Elkhart, Indiana from 1 – 4 pm.
The event features dozens of fancy edibles, over a hundred affordably priced gift baskets, musical entertainment, silent auction, TEAGO, antique car rides, vendors and artisans selling their wares, and of course – lots and lots of delicious tea!
The next tea will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Admission is $5 and a non-perishable food or personal care item for the CCS pantry.
